This record features early recordings from Clemson, SC's Sunbrain and Toccoa, GA's The Remedy. The song "Pressure Face" was pulled from Sunbrain's Grass Records debut Perfection Lies. "Résumé" is a result of Sunbrain's first recording session with The Remedy's Andy LeMaster (Drip, Now It's Overhead, Bright Eyes). It is exclusive to this release. "I Try" was pulled from The Remedy's Rage Records cassette. All three songs are loud and fast. This record is a great little time capsule of both bands.

This record is full of angst-ridden pop-punk from Sunbrain and Smiths-esque indie-rock from Tooth & Nail Records recording artists Luxury. This Andy LeMaster (Drip, Now It's Overhead, Bright Eyes ) recording of Sunbrain's "Stupid Shine" is exclusive to this release. "Rewind Button" was pulled from the band's Good Side album released by Grass Records. Luxury's "Flaming Youth Flames On" was also recorded by LeMaster for this release. It was also included on the Ghostmeat 5th Anniversary compilation CD released in 1999.

Lumberjack/Ghostmeat split release
This record is beautiful green and white marbled vinyl. It was a split release between Ghostmeat and Omaha, NE's Lumberjack Records which later became Saddle Creek Records. It includes a early recording of Sunbrain's "Valentine's Day"." The song was later re-recorded for the album Liquid. The Polecat song "Make Out Party" is exclusive to this release. The Omaha band featured the songs of Saddle Creek's Ted Stevens (Cursive, Mayday, Lullaby For The Working Class).

This record features two songs from the Athens, GA quartet. The recordings were done by Andy LeMaster (Drip, Now It's Overhead). The songs are pop-rock heavy on melody, harmony and guitars. "Not Coming Down" demonstrates a love for pure, Beatles-esque hooks while the B-side, "Dashlight," is slower, darker and more obtuse. Both songs were included on the band's debut album When I Was Broken released in 1999 on New York's Ten 23 Records.
